East Coast Swing in Salt Lake City

A dance accessible to all, East Coast Swing rose to prominence in the 1940s as popular music evolved towards rock and roll, rockabilly, and boogie-woogie. Dance studios cultivated East Coast Swing as a swing dance style that was attractive and easy for the general public to learn. This lively dance can be performed on its own or seamlessly integrated into Lindy Hop Swing, the dance from which it draws from.
